Some normalcy returned to the agriculture world Thursday.

Not only did the Ontario Summer Show return to the Lindsay show ring July 22, but behind the mask, a familiar face picked up the hardware. Pierre Boulet showed the winning four-year-old Jersey, Rexlea Joel Karausel ET to claim the grand championship as well. Ninety head of Jerseys were placed over the day for show judge Jeff Sayles.

On July 23 more than 200 head have been entered in the Holstein summer show, also in Lindsay. The shows are the first public events to be held in Ontario’s dairy industry since the Covid-19 shutdown in March, 2020
