Wendy’s launches pea-based burger

It uses a self-designed recipe

Wendy’s restaurant chain is launching a pea-based burger made from a recipe the company created for itself.

It said it doesn’t want to simply offer the same plant protein products as competitors, many of them using Beyond Meat’s products.

Wendy’s has about 380 Canadian stores.

This product, called Plantiful, was created by the Canadian team for the Canadian market.
