The Bite of Brant is this year’s champion named by Farm & Food Care Ontario.

It is a 24-year-old annual two-day program run by the Brant County Agricultural Awareness Committee that engages with about 1,000 Grade 5 students.

It is presented by about 120 volunteers, including farmers, retired teachers and others in the agricultural industry. They teach about agriculture career opportunities, the importance of buying local and food production.
