At the Ontario Stockyards, 271 fed cattle were on offer. Cows and bulls sold steady. Calves sold steady to Monday’s market.

Cows: $54.50 – $87.50

Bulls: $102.54 – $113.99

From Ontario Pork:

Quebec’s average price on Tuesday was $204.90 per ckg D.W. 100 index.

The previous markets day’s CME Constructed (201) price was $83.35 U.S. per cwt. D.W.

Compared to the previous day this was up $0.14

Today we expect the CME Constructed (201) price to increase $0.76

At the Chicago Board of Trade, corn futures are moderately higher:

JUL19 up 6 1/2 at $3.75 1/4

DEC19 up 5 1/2 at $3.93 1/4

Soybean futures are slightly higher:

JUL19 up 5 1/4 at $8.36 3/4

NOV19 up 4 3/4 at $8.61 1/4

Chatham-Kent cash corn:

$4.75 – $4.85/bu, $187.10 – $191.03/mt.

Chatham-Kent cash soybeans:

$10.32 – $10.42/bu, $379.11 – $382.78/mt.

Grain Farmers Terminal Wheat Bids:

Soft White $6.14/bu, $225.61/mt.

Hard Red $6.21/bu, $228.18/mt.

Soft Red $6.01/bu, $220.83/mt.

Red Spring $6.14/bu, $225.61/mt.
