At the Ontario Stockyards, 375 fed cattle were on offer. Cows and bulls traded on a good demand at steady prices. Veal sold steady to Monday’s market.

Cows: $52.50 – $87.00

Bulls: $94.00 – $108.00

From Ontario Pork:

Quebec’s average price on Tuesday was $144.40 per ckg D.W. 100 index. The previous markets day’s CME Constructed (201) price was $56.27 U.S. per cwt. D.W.

Compared to the previous day this was up $0.09

Today we expect the CME Constructed (201) price to decrease $0.03

At the Chicago Board of Trade, corn futures are steady to slightly higher:

MAY20 up 2 1/2 at $3.83 3/4

DEC20 unchanged at $3.84 1/2

Soybean futures are mixed:

MAY20 up 4 1/2 at $9.08

NOV20 up 1 at $9.20 1/4

Chatham-Kent cash corn:

$5.24 – $5.24/bu, $206.19 – $206.19/mt.

Chatham-Kent cash soybeans:

$11.63 – $11.68/bu, $427.33 – $429.17/mt.

Grain Farmers Terminal Wheat Bids:

Soft White $7.23/bu, $265.66/mt.

Hard Red $7.43/bu, $273.01/mt.

Soft Red $7.23/bu, $265.66/mt.

Red Spring $6.70/bu, $246.18/mt.
