At the Ontario Stockyards, 413 fed cattle were on offer. Cows and bulls sold steady. Calves sold steady to Monday’s lower market.

Cows: $61.00 – $93.50

Bulls: $95.99 – $108.67

From Ontario Pork:

Quebec’s average price on Tuesday was $176.71 per ckg D.W. 100 index.

The previous markets day’s CME Constructed (201) price was $70.96 U.S. per cwt. D.W.

Compared to the previous day this was down $0.49

Today we expect the CME Constructed (201) price to decrease $0.17

At the Chicago Board of Trade, corn futures are slightly lower:

SEP19 down 1/2 at $4.32

DEC19 down 3/4 at $4.36 1/2

Soybean futures are slightly higher:

AUG19 up 4 1/2 at $8.90 1/2

NOV19 up 4 1/2 at $9.08 3/4

Chatham-Kent cash corn:

$5.87 – $5.92/bu, $231.09 – $233.06/mt.

Chatham-Kent cash soybeans:

$11.01 – $11.06/bu, $404.37 – $406.20/mt.

Grain Farmers Terminal Wheat Bids:

Soft White $6.84/bu, $251.33/mt.

Hard Red $7.10/bu, $260.88/mt.

Soft Red $6.71/bu, $246.55/mt.

Red Spring $6.41/bu, $235.53/mt.
