At Brussels and OLEX, 803 fed cattle were on offer. At Brussels, fed steers and heifers sold actively at prices $3.00-$5.00 higher. At OLEX, veal is selling on a good demand at steady prices.

Medium Steers: $150.00 – $156.00

Large Heifers: $157.00 – $166.00

From Ontario Pork:

Quebec’s average price on Monday was $228.74 per ckg D.W. 100 index.

The previous markets day’s CME Constructed (201) price was $97.15 U.S. per cwt. D.W.

Compared to the previous day this was down $0.68

At the Chicago Board of Trade, corn futures are slightly higher:

DEC21 up 2 1/2 at $5.15 3/4

Soybean futures are narrowly mixed:

NOV21 up 1/4 at $12.85

NOV22 down 1 at $12.57

Wheat futures are slightly to moderately higher:

DEC21 up 11 at $6.98

JUL22 up 7 3/4 at $6.98

Chatham-Kent harvest corn:

$6.21 – $6.21/bu, $244.38 – $244.38/mt.

Chatham-Kent harvest soybeans:

$15.54 – $15.75/bu, $571.00 – $578.72/mt.

Chatham-Kent Soft Red Winter Wheat:

$7.58 – $7.78/bu, $278.52 – $285.87/mt.
