At OLEX and the Ontario Stockyards, 475 fed cattle were on offer.

At OLEX, veal is selling at barely steady prices. At the Ontario Stockyards,  veal is selling steady.

SHEEP AND LAMBS:

There were 600 head on offer at the Ontario Stockyards.  All classes of sheep, lambs and goats sold stronger.

Lambs 95 – 109 lbs:  $223.00 – $240.00

Lambs 80 – 94 lbs:    $237.50 – $250.00

Lambs 65 – 79 lbs:    $275.00 – $285.00

Lambs 50 – 64 lbs:    $297.50 – $330.00

Lambs under 50 lbs:            $285.00 – $335.00

Sheep:                                    $112.00 – $152.50

Goats:                          $318.90 – $362.50

From Ontario Pork:

Quebec’s average price on Monday was $180.87 per ckg D.W. 100 index.

The previous markets day’s CME Constructed (201) price was $74.48 U.S. per cwt. D.W.

Compared to the previous day this was down $0.96.

Today we expect the CME Constructed (201) price to decrease $0.84.

At the Chicago Board of Trade, corn futures are slightly higher:

SEP19 up 2 at $4.17  1/2

DEC19 up 2 at $4.24  1/2

Soybean futures are slightly lower:

AUG19 down 8 3/4 at $8.81

NOV19 down 8 1/2 at $9.00

Chatham-Kent cash corn:    $5.58 – $5.63/bu, $219.48 – $221.45/mt.

Chatham-Kent cash soybeans:        $10.84 – $10.91/bu, $398.30 – $400.88/mt.

Grain Farmers Terminal Wheat Bids: Soft White $6.85/bu, $251.7/mt.

Hard Red $7.11/bu, $261.25/mt, Soft Red $6.72/bu, $246.92/mt, Red Spring $6.53/bu, $239.94/mt.
