At Brussels and OLEX, 760 fed cattle were on offer.  At Brussels, a light run of fed cattle sold on a good, steady trade. At OLEX, veal is selling at stronger prices.

Large Steers:            $144.00 – $147.00

Medium Steers:                 $140.00 – $144.00

Large Heifers:           $144.00 – $147.00

Medium Heifers:                $140.00 – $144.00

From Ontario Pork:

Quebec’s average price on Monday was $206.68 per ckg D.W. 100 index.

The previous markets day’s CME Constructed (201) price was $84.53 U.S. per cwt. D.W.

Compared to the previous day this was down $0.30

Today we expect the CME Constructed (201) price to decrease $1.43

At the Chicago Board of Trade, corn futures are slightly lower:

SEP19 down  3/4 at $4.04  1/2

DEC19 down 1 1/2 at $4.13  1/4

Soybean futures are narrowly mixed:

NOV19 down 1/4 at $8.68  1/2

NOV19 down 1/4 at $8.68  1/2

Chatham-Kent cash corn: $5.85 – $6.00/bu, $230.11 – $236.01/mt.

Chatham-Kent cash soybeans: $10.74 – $10.79/bu, $394.45 – $396.28/mt.

Grain Farmers Terminal Wheat Bids: Soft White $6.91/bu, $253.9/mt.

Hard Red $7.17/bu, $263.45/mt, Soft Red $6.84/bu, $251.33/mt, Red Spring $6.53/bu, $239.94/mt.
