At OLEX, 585 fed cattle were on offer. Cows are selling on a strong demand at higher prices.

Cows: $88.00 – $105.00

From Ontario Pork:

Quebec’s average price on Wednesday was $270.05 per ckg D.W. 100 index.

The previous markets day’s CME Constructed (201) price was $119.26 U.S. per cwt. D.W.

Compared to the previous day this was up $1.12

At the Chicago Board of Trade, corn futures are slightly higher to higher:

JUL21 up 14 1/2 at $7.05 1/4

DEC21 up 7 3/4 at $6.17 1/2

Soybean futures are mixed:

JUL21 up 6 3/4 at $15.69 1/4

NOV21 up 8 3/4 at $14.57

Wheat futures are narrowly mixed:

JUL21 up 2 at $6.84 1/4

Chatham-Kent cash corn:

$8.75 – $8.85/bu, $344.57 – $348.51/mt.

Chatham-Kent cash soybeans:

$19.19 – $19.25/bu, $705.21 – $707.41/mt.

Chatham-Kent Soft Red Winter Wheat:

$8.43 – $8.44/bu, $309.84 – $310.21/mt.
