At the Ontario Stockyards, 50 fed cattle were on offer. Veal is selling at steady prices

There were 1,075 head on offer at the Ontario Stockyards. Good sheep and goats sold steady. All lambs traded at lower prices.

Lambs 80 – 94 lbs: $355.00 – $380.00

Lambs 65 – 79 lbs: $362.50 – $387.50

Lambs 50 – 64 lbs: $370.00 – $407.50

Lambs under 50 lbs: $365.00 – $410.00

Sheep: $120.00 – $165.00

Goats: $326.67 – $406.54

Quebec’s average price on Friday was $205.46 per ckg D.W. 100 index.

The previous markets day’s CME Constructed (201) price was $82.88 U.S. per cwt. D.W.

Compared to the previous day this was up $0.16

Today we expect the CME Constructed (201) price to increase $0.49

At the Chicago Board of Trade, corn futures are moderately lower:

JUL19 down 4 1/2 at $3.47 1/4

DEC19 down 4 1/4 at $3.67 3/4

Soybean futures are slightly to moderately lower:

JUL19 down 16 at $7.93 1/4

NOV19 down 15 1/4 at $8.18

Chatham-Kent cash corn:

$4.47 – $4.52/bu, $176.07 – $178.04/mt.

Chatham-Kent cash soybeans: $9.78 – $9.83/bu, $359.45 – $361.29/mt.

Grain Farmers Terminal Wheat Bids:

Soft White $5.73/bu, $210.54/mt.

Hard Red $5.80/bu, $213.12/mt,

Soft Red $5.60/bu, $205.77/mt,

RedSpring $5.98/bu, $219.73/mt.
