SHEEP AND LAMBS: There were 600 head on offer at the Ontario Stockyards. Heavy lambs are selling slightly stronger. Light lambs and good goats are steady. Sheep are barely steady.

Lambs 95 – 109 lbs: $267.50 – $279.00

Lambs 80 – 94 lbs: $280.00 – $290.00

Lambs 65 – 79 lbs: $290.00 – $372.50

Lambs 50 – 64 lbs: $350.00 – $370.00

Sheep: $140.00 – $178.00

Goats: $146.85 – $379.20

From Ontario Pork:

Quebec’s average price on Friday was $147.60 per ckg D.W. 100 index. Friday’s CME Constructed (201) price was $57.01 U.S. per cwt. D.W. Compared to Thursday this was up $0.07

Today we expect the CME Constructed (201) price to increase $0.26

At the Chicago Board of Trade, corn futures are slightly to moderately lower:

MAY20 down 4 at $3.72

DEC20 down 5 1/2 at $3.76

Soybean futures are moderately lower:

MAY20 down 17 3/4 at $8.73 1/2

NOV20 down 17 at $8.88 1/2

Chatham-Kent cash corn:

$5.17 – $5.22/bu, $203.53 – $205.50/mt.

Chatham-Kent cash soybeans:

$11.44 – $11.49/bu, $420.17 – $422.00/mt.

Grain Farmers Terminal Wheat Bids:

Soft White $7.24/bu, $266.03/mt.

Hard Red $7.45/bu, $273.74/mt.

Soft Red $7.24/bu, $266.03/mt.
