At the Ontario Stockyards, 60 fed cattle were on offer.  Veal is trading steady.

SHEEP AND LAMBS:  There were 1,100 head on offer at the Ontario Stockyards. Lambs, sheep and goats are selling at just steady prices.

Lambs 95 – 109 lbs:  $280.00 – $295.00

Lambs 80 – 94 lbs:    $287.50 – $330.00

Lambs 65 – 79 lbs:    $285.00 – $340.00

Lambs 50 – 64 lbs:    $312.50 – $380.00

Lambs under 50 lbs: $275.00 – $370.00

Sheep:                        $140.00 – $172.50

Goats:                         $261.54 – $266.67

From Ontario Pork:

Quebec’s average price on Friday was $181.52 per ckg D.W. 100 index. The previous markets day’s CME Constructed (201) price was $62.57 U.S. per cwt. D.W.

Compared to the previous day this was up $0.82

Today we expect the CME Constructed (201) price to increase $0.23. At the Chicago Board of Trade, corn futures are slightly lower:

MAY20 down 1 at $3.42  3/4

DEC20 down  1/4 at $3.63

Soybean futures are slightly higher:

MAY20 up 9 1/2 at $8.72

NOV20 up 7 1/4 at $8.68

Chatham-Kent cash corn: $4.88 – $4.88/bu, $192.02 – $192.02/mt.

Chatham-Kent cash soybeans: $11.82 – $11.95/bu, $434.31 –

$439.09/mt.

Grain Farmers Terminal Wheat Bids: Soft White $8.33/bu, $306.08/mt. Hard Red $8.55/bu, $314.16/mt, Soft Red $8.33/bu, $306.08/mt, Red Spring $7.28/bu, $267.50/mt.
