From Ontario Pork: Quebec’s average price on Thursday was $182.47 per ckg D.W. 100 index. The previous markets day’s CME Constructed (201) price was $78.10 U.S. per cwt. D.W.

Compared to the previous day this was up $1.77 Today we expect the CME Constructed (201) price to increase $2.33

Average weekly price /ckg DW total value $192.12 Total volume of Ont. hogs sold was 94,573

At the Chicago Board of Trade, corn futures are slightly lower:

SEP19 down 1 3/4 at $4.16 3/4

DEC19 down 1 1/2 at $4.26

Soybean futures are slightly higher:

AUG19 up 5 3/4 at $8.88 1/4

NOV19 up 5 1/2 at $9.05 1/4

Chatham-Kent cash corn:

$5.97 – $6.12/bu, $234.93 – $240.83/mt.

Chatham-Kent cash soybeans:

$11.08 – $11.13/bu, $407.22 – $409.05/mt.

Grain Farmers Terminal Wheat Bids:

Soft White $6.99/bu, $256.84/mt.

Hard Red $7.26/bu, $266.76/mt.

Soft Red $6.93/bu, $254.64/mt.

Red Spring $6.51/bu, $239.20/mt.
