An underground video of hogs prompted a protest rally at a hog farm near Abbotsford, British Columbia.

About 50 people who were bussed in to the site entered the premises and another 135 gathered outside chanting slogans and singing songs.

They were reacting to a video showing dead and injured pigs among live ones, but brothers Ray and Jeff Binnenndyk said they think the video was staged and that not all of it may have been shot at their Excelsior Hog Farm.

Ray said the video apparently was shot secretly and at night and Jeff said he worries about the threat of disease carried by the intruders.

Police said they have launched a criminal investigation after they warned trespassers.
