New staff and positions at Ontario Pork

Ontario Pork is pleased to welcome Blair Cressman as the Manager, Marketing Division and announce that Patrick O’Neil will take on the newly created position of Manager, Business Economics and Development, effective February 10, 2020.

Blair comes to Ontario Pork with strong background in the pork sector, beginning with his family’s Waterloo-area farm. He holds a Bachelor of Science Agriculture (Animal Sciences) from the University of Guelph, and has extensive experience in pork production, sales and marketing.

Patrick’s new role as Manager, Business Economics and Development leverages his skills and experience at Ontario Pork navigating government, programs and policy. In this new role, Patrick will add depth to the organization’s work on safety nets and related programs.

Ontario Pork represents 1,180 farmers who market 5.5 million hogs in the province. The organization is engaged in many areas, including research, government representation, environmental issues, consumer education and food quality assurance.
